Six events. Film them wherever you train. Get ranked against dads your age, and find out where you really stand.
Each event is scored 0 to 100 points. Same scale for everyone: no age grading, no bodyweight math.
Your age only decides your division. The overall champion is the dad with the most points, at any age.
Registration is open. Lock in the $15 early-bird entry before Dec 1.
Full rules and filming standards go out to every entrant before submissions open Feb 1.
Please read this carefully. It affects your legal rights. By checking the waiver box at checkout, you are signing this agreement electronically, the same as if you signed it on paper. If you do not agree to every part of it, do not enter.
Who this agreement is with. This is an agreement between you and Athletic Dad Training LLC (which runs the Athletic Dad Collective and the Athletic Dad Games), CT Taylor, and their owners, employees, coaches, contractors, judges, sponsors, partners and affiliates (together, the “Released Parties”).
What the Games involve. The Athletic Dad Games are a remote fitness competition. You train and film your events on your own, at a place of your choosing, using your own or a facility’s equipment. The events include maximal-effort lifting (including the bench press and other loaded lifts), sprinting, jumping, hanging and rowing, and any training program or workouts provided for the Games. No one from the Released Parties is there to supervise, spot, coach or inspect your equipment or space while you train or film.
Assumption of risk. I understand that these activities are physically demanding and carry real risks, both known and unknown, including but not limited to muscle strains and tears, sprains, joint and back injuries, fractures, dislocations, falls, dropped or failing weights and equipment, head injuries and concussion, heart attack, stroke, heat illness, paralysis and death. I understand that pushing for a maximum effort, competing against others and filming myself can increase those risks. I take part voluntarily, and I knowingly accept and assume all of these risks, including risks that come from the actions or carelessness of others and from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
My health. I confirm that I am in good enough physical health to train for and compete in these events, and that I have no medical condition, injury or medication that makes them unsafe for me. I have consulted a doctor before taking part, or I have chosen not to and accept the risk of that choice. I will stop immediately and get medical help if I feel pain, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath or anything unusual. I understand the Released Parties are not doctors or medical providers, and nothing they share (including any program, video, coaching tip or message) is medical advice.
Safety is my responsibility. I am solely responsible for training and competing safely. That includes using safety arms, a spotter or other safeguards on the bench press and any lift where I could get pinned; using collars, a stable bar and rack, and equipment that is in good working order; choosing a safe, clear, suitable space; warming up properly; and only attempting what I can do safely. I will follow the safety rules in the filming standards. I will follow the rules of any gym or facility I use and get permission where needed. I understand the Released Parties do not own, control or inspect any equipment or location I use and are not responsible for it.
Release and waiver of liability. In exchange for being allowed to enter, I, for myself, my spouse, children, heirs, estate and anyone acting for me, release, waive and forever discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and liability of any kind, including for injury, illness, disability, death or damage to property, that arise from or relate to my training for, filming, entering or taking part in the Athletic Dad Games or any related program or workout, including claims caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Promise not to sue. I agree not to sue or bring any claim against the Released Parties for anything this agreement releases.
Indemnity. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, losses, damages and costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that arise from my participation, my conduct, my videos, my breaking of these terms, or any claim brought by me or anyone acting for me.
Medical costs and insurance. I am responsible for my own health insurance and for any medical treatment, costs or expenses that result from my participation.
Videos, name and likeness. I agree that my name, photo, likeness, voice, city, age division, scores, results and submitted videos may be shown on leaderboards and used in Athletic Dad Games and Athletic Dad Collective posts, emails, websites, ads and other media, worldwide, without payment to me. I confirm my videos are my own, are unedited, and don’t include anyone who hasn’t agreed to be filmed. I can ask to be left out of future promotional use at any time by emailing ct@theathleticdadcollective.com (results already posted and the leaderboard may remain).
Eligibility and fair play. I confirm I am a dad and will be 30 or older on February 28, 2027, and that everything I submit is true. I will follow the event rules and filming standards. The judges’ decisions on scores, rules, eligibility and prizes are final. The Released Parties may disqualify any entry for cheating, edited or misleading videos, unsafe lifting or unsportsmanlike conduct, without a refund.
Prizes. Prizes are paid as described on the Athletic Dad Games page and may depend on the number of entries. Winners may need to confirm their identity and provide tax information before payment, and are responsible for any taxes on their winnings.
Entry fees. All entries are final and entry fees are non-refundable, including if I get injured, change my mind, miss deadlines or am disqualified. If the Released Parties cancel or postpone the Games, they will decide in good faith whether to reschedule or refund.
The rest. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and the unenforceable part will be enforced as fully as the law allows. This is the whole agreement about my participation and replaces anything said before.
I have read this agreement, I understand it, and I understand that by agreeing to it I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue. I agree to it freely and voluntarily.
